I am a highly experienced marketing, advertising, and brand consultant who has helped numerous companies achieve their goals through smart, creative, strategic marketing programs, breakthrough advertising, and building solid and sustainable brands.
I have over 30 years of experience in advertising, strategic message development, brand marketing, positioning, agency ownership and senior management, and marketing communications from both the agency and client-side in the United States and Europe. I’ve worked on everything from integrated advertising campaigns in all their various forms (print, broadcast, online, OOH), strategic brand and corporate identity development, positioning, research, websites, collateral, packaging, reseller/channel and partner marketing, point-of-sale/retail, lead generation, social/digital media, PR, video production, SEO/SEM and more.
I’ve been an owner/partner/president of an advertising agency in San Francisco (Amp Communications), held Managing Director positions (Tattoo Brand Consulting and Ozone Advertising), and served as Director of Client Services and Group Account Director for other advertising firms in the USA and abroad. I also served as Director of Brand & Marketing for a large-scale corporate catering company (Global Gourmet Catering) and CMO for a restaurant group (Culinary Current, Inc.), which includes Rocketbird, Moto Mio Pizzeria, and Tasty Moon.
My client experience includes everything from technology (consumer and B2B), food, packaged goods, and tourism/travel to startups, non-profits, and dotcoms. I also have international experience developing and producing integrated, global campaigns in as many as 16 languages and cultures while living & working in England for seven years.

In addition to working as an independent strategist/consultant, I indulge my other writing passion. As a keen observer of technology, culture, consumer behavior, and emerging trends, it was only a matter of time before my first (nonfiction) book about online dating, "FREE LOVE – True Stories of Love and Lust on the Internet" was published in 2010 and updated v1.1 (digital only) version in 2020.
